Global Skyline Maintenance UK Ltd has developed an equivalent mechanism to the safety management system, whose main aims are:
 

• To minimize the contribution of our maintenance activities to the serious accidents and incidents in which aircrafts maintained by Skyline Maintenance are involved.

• To provide appropriate and relevant instruction in operational safety management to all staff of the organisation.

• To promote the notification of operational safety weakness, hazards and occurrences to our staff by establishment of a “fair culture”.
   

• To put in place the appropriate operational safety information dissemination channels to all the staff of the organisation
   

• To reduce the rate of major incidents verses the number of aircrafts maintained.
   

• To reduce the fatigue of aircraft engineers introducing methods to estimate the time and the workload in a realistic way.
   

• To improve the work procedures in order to reduce the % of work orders that requires rework.
